I come from a proud family that has been involved in public service for as long as I can remember. I want to work for you.  The issues below are not the only things that I care about.  These issues are the closest to my heart.  Know for sure -- any issue that affects the people of Indiana will be important to me.  I'll be sure to thoroughly research and investigate the topic.  My utmost responsibility is to support and defend the constituents I've been elected to represent.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Our Founding Fathers.  Seems clear enough to me.

But do you know what the Indiana Constitution says about our defense?

"Article 1. Section 32. The people shall have a right to bear arms, for the defense of themselves and the State."

Enough said.

I am a Christian and a father.  I served in the military because I believe we are called upon to the defend those that cannot defend themselves.  Who could possibly need more defending?

Taking care of my brothers and sisters that serve or have served our country is near and dear to my heart. Promoting programs designed to educate, train, employ and support our military is not only good for the veteran and their family, it is good for our state.

As a parent, I've always been involved with my children and their school.  Parents should be empowered to choose the school that best fits their child's needs.  With this choice comes accountability for the schools' use of the program funds provided.

I will always support programs designed to encourage and help small business ventures.  Investing in our communities and citizens encourages job opportunities, local tax revenue, and community involvement.  This will increase business activity and provide true stimulation for the area's economic health.
